Role
- PDA aims at delivering value for power production units by developing optimization strategies and running daily optimization runs for the portfolios of Engie and its clients;
- Creating bidding strategies that models accurately the constraints of each asset; exploits the use of all smart bidding products available; and minimizes the exposures of the portfolio all while maximizing revenue and ensuring the physical balance;
- Upon reception of the daily clearing results, computing and communicating the final production plans of each of the assets to prepare for delivery in real time;
- A thorough understanding of the P&L of every asset and a comprehensive reporting of the day-ahead activity & coordinating the intra-month production and maintenance planning
Hard skills
- Any interdisciplinary skills is a must: Economical (trading, risk management), Financial (P&L, Reporting) & Digital (Data, Coding, PO)
- Any knowledge of physical power and gas markets is a plus.
Soft skills

Education and professional background
Bachelor or master in relevant studies (Engineering, Economics or Digital);
Professional experience on energy markets and/or digitalization is a plus.
Languages
You are fluent in English. Dutch or French is a plus;
Other EU language will be required for a mission abroad.
