About the role:
We are looking for Senior Scala developer to join our team!
You will work with external team located in Poland and managing Narita product, one of important parts of myDHli.com portal. This team works in agile way using modern technologies related to reactive development and it is all running in Azure cloud.
We build a one-stop portal to excellence in international digital transport logistics for our DHL Global Forwarding business. DHL Global Forwarding is a global market leader in Air Freight and Ocean Freight logistics. You will have a challenge to participate in design and implementation of new global portal for our global logistics business. We will provide you significant opportunity to grow along the way.
What you should have:
- Production experience with solving distributes systems problems (transactional behaviour, coordination, resilience, scalability, monitoring)
- Scala 2.13, sbt (moving to bazel), lightbend akka, akka streams, akka cluster
- Azure cloud (in general + blob storage, cosmos as mongo), AKS (or Kubernetes in general)
- Terraform (IaaC)
- Elasticsearch, Kafka, postgresql, IBM MQ
- Prometheus + grafana dashboard
- Jenkins CI/CD
- React (js/typescript) - for front-end apps
- DevOps mode (deployments, prod support, incidents, on-call rotation), scrum, git flow
- Mindset to deliver high quality and continuous improvement
- Quick learner with dedication and responsibility
- Great Team player
- Problem solving approach
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks
- Ability to provide guidance to less senior engineers
