As a member of the Azure product team, you are responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Your role is to analyze and understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and secure cloud architecture.
Your tasks
Consulting and supporting customers designing Cloud Architectures.
- Collaborating and communicating with different stakeholders such as System Admins, Architects and Developers in ÖBB.
- Implementing solutions in Azure using IaC.
- Creating reusable Terraform Modules.
- Extending and maintaining the ÖBB Azure platform.
- Monitoring and optimizing performance.
- Supporting the evaluation of new technologies according to customer needs.
- Contributing to the agile learning journey of the team.
Your profile
- You have completed your IT studies (preferably computer science or informatics).
- At least 3 years of experience as Azure Engineer / Architect.
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, Biceps).
- Azure Certifications are a plus.
- Motivated to develop new technologies in a new and rapidly growing team.
- Experience in working in agile teams as we use SAFe.
- Fluent in English and good German skills or willingness to learn.

- A minimum salary of € 49.714,00 gross per year is provided for the position of “IT Project/Program Management Expert” (according to the collective rail company agreement). Depending on qualifications and work experience, the salary is above the collective agreement level, starting at € 70,000.00 gross/year.
