Your Impact:


As a Junior Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will be joining our in-house corporate accounting department. With a great combination of comprehensive accounting knowledge, skillful specialists and commitment to company’s success, Accounts Receivable is an important part of Jacobs finance functions. Our role is to support project teams and internal departments by providing current information about company liquid asset.

Our Junior Accounts Receivable Accountant:

  • Researches and processes incoming wire transfers, ACH payments, checks and other receipts
  • Applies daily payments to client invoices and updates receipt logs accordingly
  • Applies varied regional cash receipts (vendor payments, employee checks, tax refunds, rebates, money transfers)
  • Processes different AR adjustments (roundings, overpayments, taxes, refunds, interest)
  • Proceeds with AR nettings on Project Accountants' requests
  • Prepares refund requests for clients (payments, checks) and internal cash transfers via Liquid Office tool
  • Issues manual non-project related invoices
  • Assists in completing ACH vendor forms requested by project teams
  • Responds to AR related queries using shared AR mailboxes and solves straightforward problems
  • Participates in internal and external audits
  • Collaborates effectively with other departments (Project Accounting, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Credit Cards)
  • Follows company policies, procedures and SOX controls
Here’s What You’ll Need:


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in an international accounting environment will be an asset
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Good MS Excel knowledge
  • Analytical skills, accuracy and focus on details
  • Collaborative approach
