About the Role
As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will be the focal point for various teams in the order to cash (O2C) process. You will be responsible for the accuracy of data and billing information across all systems. In your day to day activities, you will be working closely with diverse teams such as Deal Desk, Product, Business Applications, Sales, Legal, and more.
What You'll Be Doing
- Track and support the deal flow, and ensure billing data integrity across the Q2C (Quote To Cash) process in SalesForce
- Support and manage the current process of the monthly billing cycle and billing inquires.
- Work with Product and Dev teams to improve processes and flows around new products.
- Assist with prioritization of finance tasks and requirments with multiple teams such as Product, Bizapps, BI.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to create seamless flow of billing information and ensure its accurate representation in the financial statements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of billing information.
- Initiate and evaluate automated solutions to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Guide and train sales teams on correct data input to the systems.
- Work closely with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal and Product teams.
- Assist in the design of system integration projects.
- Build weekly/monthly reports and track performance KPI's.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Prior experience in the high-tech industry / start-up company (big advantage)
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar position
- Tech-oriented with high attention to details
- Experience working with legal terminology
- Experience working with SalesForce and Netsuite (big advantage)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great communicator, delivery minded
- Data driven, and an excellent problem solver
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
