Introduction and overview

We are looking for a person who adds value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing marketing efforts. You will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice and recommendations on how to win together with our customers. As Key Account Manager you will be a part of the Commercial team and report to Country Lead.


Key Account Manager Grocery channel

  • Build profitable Kenvue sales and market share within defined key accounts.
  • Meet customer needs and implement best-in-class solutions to drive distribution and consumer take off through relevant secondary solutions and promotional activities.
  • Demonstrate category focus in how we address customers to build category performance and solid customer relations.
  • The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop & execute customer specific account plans in conjunction with the annual planning process to optimize Kenvue plans and meeting customer needs. Implement plans to achieve sales, profit contribution, SKU distribution on both established brands & NPI`s, promotions, customer staff training, secondary placement.
  • Develop, present and sell-in of profitable in-store campaigns.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Initiate, build and maintain strong customer relations within the key account portfolio.
  • Analyze key categories within customers to identify category development opportunities and address these in co-operation with Commercial Activation Shopper Manager and / or Commercial Activation Manager. Initiate category projects with the aim of maximizing category performance to the best for both customer, consumer and Kenvue.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer development, market conditions and competitive activities. If negative deviation or sudden opportunities arise, to recommend action and gain approval to secure company objectives.
  • Evaluate and report customer activity results to meet internal local and regional management requirements.
  • Work cross functionally with relevant internal functions to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications
  • A minimum bachelor’s degree or respective studies
  • A minimum of 3 years as key account manager within FMCG, working towards the grocery market
  • Experience and proven track record in effective key account management
  • Negotiation skills and experience in handling the negotiation process with Grocery retail Chains
  • Analytical skills
  • Skilled in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Local language (Norwegian) and good English language skills are required

We are looking for an analytical thinking, structured and focused person who is used to setting his/her own clear priorities. It is critical that you have good commercial and negotiation skills and a strong customer focus.

As a person you need to have excellent communication & presentation skills and a strong sense of urgency. You are also a team player with a sense of humor & winning personality.
